Pourquoi Pas

I recently had the opportunity to work at Werkplaats Raaf in Breda—a workplace for silkscreening—for two days. For this I designed a small two-colour poster, named after an island off the coast of Antarctica. Pourquoi Pas was discovered by Jean-Baptiste Charcot in 1908, but charted more accurately by John Rymill in 1934–37 who also gave the island its distinctive name, similar to Charcot’s ship, the Pourquoi Pas ? IV.
